Long time no speak

It's a little short of a year since the last time I blogged and I do apologise for that but I just wasn't feeling motivated at all to carry on with this and I didn't feel inspired to write about anything! However that's all changed now and I've been really itching to come back and tell you all about new things I've discovered, so here I am!

A lot has happened over the time I've been gone. I took my first step towards growing up by getting a proper job which has made me feel so much more independent after heavily relying on my parents in the past. I realised how many 'fake friends' I had and decided that there was no space for them in my life anymore and as well as this I finally decided what I want to do in the future by applying to university, hopefully this will include a lot of travelling!

I do want to say a big thank you to all the followers who've stuck with me for the time that I've been gone. I really do appreciate it but I am back now and have a lot of posts already lined up for you!

Manis and Pedis and Makeup Galore

One of the most beautiful assets a woman has is her confidence. A woman with confidence is much more beautiful than a woman without confidence. Confidence makes a woman look more gorgeous and come across to others as more beautiful; a woman with confidence is one that appears to have it all. A woman with confidence holds her head higher, her shoulders back and she exudes something that other women cannot put their fingers on and everyone notices. Confident women are just more attractive. Additionally, confident women have an easier time facing their troubles because they are confident that they will pull through a difficult time and land on their feet.

One time when a woman needs her confidence the most is when she is undergoing cancer treatments. When a woman is diagnosed with a rare form of cancer such as mesothelioma, she needs her confidence to help her get through the process of being treated. Treatments often become very difficult on a person’s body, which means that they need all the confidence and help they can get. Feeling beautiful is one way a woman can regain the confidence she loses when she is diagnosed with cancer. Beauty is something that makes women feel good about themselves; when a woman feels good about herself she feels more confident. When she feels good about herself her entire quality of life is improved; quality of life is very important when it comes to dealing with and overcoming cancer.

When a woman with cancer wants to make herself feel more beautiful and more confident so she feels better and more optimistic about her cancer treatments, she should try some new things, as well as some tried and true things. Taking time out to relax and have a manicure and pedicure is a great way a woman can feel more beautiful and more confident. Being pampered automatically improves a woman’s mood. When she is being pampered and made to look more beautiful at the same time, she really feels good about herself.

With gorgeous hands and feet, a woman might feel like she needs a new pair of shoes to go with her pedicure. How better to show off her gorgeous toes than with a pair of designer shoes that make her legs look longer and leaner and her confidence level rise even more? Additionally, when she goes shopping to find those gorgeous shoes after her manicure and pedicure, she can pick up some new makeup.

Makeup is the easiest way a woman can make herself feel more beautiful. By wearing makeup, she can hide what she believes are her flaws while she makes herself feel better. Wearing organic makeup will really make a woman feel more beautiful; not only is she doing something good for the environment by wearing organic makeup, she is actually helping her skin to look better. The all natural ingredients in organic makeup will have women feeling like a million dollars and their confidence level will be through the roof despite their cancer diagnosis.

Stuck in a foundation rut!

Hi everyone!
Once again I am sorry for the lack of posts recently but my coursework deadline is up now so hopefully I'll be updating more frequently.

Anyway, I've been using the Maybelline 24 hour Superstay Foundation for a fair while and although I do really like it, I NEED a new one as it goes patchy on my skin after a few hours and it doesn't last very long. After this picture was taken I ended up buying two more bottles so I've now repurchased it six times!
I want to buy a better foundation and this is were I need your help :)
I'm looking for a foundation that has medium-heavy coverage and that lasts quite long, I also have oily skin so don't want one that will slip of!

In the past I've tried Maybelline dream matte mousse, dream satin liquid, Mac studio fix fluid, loreal true match, match perfection, dream creamy foundation, natural collection foundation and none of these have really stood out to me as being an amazing product!

February Favourites!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while but my laptop charger broke which meant I obviously couldn't switch it on. I also want to apologise for how lengthy this post is but I had so many favourite products this month! Anyway, hope you enjoy and if you want me to do a full review on anything I've featured please leave a comment!

Schwarzkopf Pro Syling Heat Protection - £2.99
I bought this spray a few weeks ago, I've used it almost everyday and my hair feels a lot smoother and softer.A little goes a long way as well with this and I can already tell it will last me ages!

Maybelline Superstay 24hour Foundation - £9.19
I'm now on my fourth bottle of this stuff and I'm still in love with it. It's so much better than my mac foundation, I have oily skin and it lasts all day without me having to touch up my powder or anything!

Juicy Couture Perfume - £45.50
This is my all time favourite perfume! I regret using it so quickly because of the price but the smell is so amazing and when ever I wear it someone always comments on how lovely it smells.

Nail Paint by Barry M - £2.99
I've been wearing this nail polish literally every day, it's in shade 305 Pink Flamingo and it's such a pretty pink colour!

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter - £12.50
I got this for Christmas after using up my satsuma body butter and this honestly is the best smelling thing in the world, and I don't even like grapefruit! It leaves your skin feeling so soft and moisturised and the smell lasts for hours.

Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara - £7.99
I normally don't repurchase mascaras as I like trying out different ones but this is my second tube of this and it still works wonders on my lashes. I've done a full review on this mascara here:

Mua White Eyeliner - £1
For £1 this eye liner seriously is amazing! I use this on my my waterline and on my lids as a base and it makes the colours so much more pigmented!

10 Things I Hate About You - £5.49
I had to include this film, I love watching this and it's definitely my favourite film ever. I've been telling nearly everyone I know to watch this and they agree that they love it as well!

What's your favourite product this month?

Cleansing milk?

Hi everyone!
Just a short post today but I thought I'd ask your opinions on a product that I've only just came across and as you can probably tell from the title it is cleansing milk. I've looked through quite a lot of reviews from a range of different brands and most of them are very positive with people saying their skin is much clearer and it takes their make up off so much easier than anything else they've used.

I was just wondering if anyone else had tried any cleansing milks and if they had worked for you because I am very interested in the concept and I do want to buy a good one within a reasonable price range! I have seen the soap and glory one but I'm not really too interested in that though as it doesn't look like it has the same consistency as others.

Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!
I hope everyone's having a lovely day today whether you're single or not.

Yesterday I saw an interesting new nail challenge and if you're interested Jebba from the key to jennasis has posted the full information on it all.

So for today you had to base your nails on the theme of valentines/love. I must admit I've been quite boring with my nails and have just gone for a pink with glitter. Hope you like it anyway!

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer Review

Hi everyone!
If you've read my January Favourites post then you may recognise this product! I have used it literally every day before my foundation and I definately want to re purchase it once it's ran out.
I have the shade '002 base de teint' which comes out white but goes on clear. I got this as it's the only shade boots sell but I have seen some reviews on American blogs with skin coloured shades.
As I said I use this under my foundation and on my eyelids because it makes my eye shadow much more vibrant. I've tried to show this in my last photo but it hasn't showed up to well, I did show my sister the difference in real life though and she actually went and bought it!

Boots - £6.99
